Thank you for the guidance. I need to request an escalation because my issue cannot be resolved through Partner Center or standard Dev Essentials support.
I am using a personal Microsoft Account (MSA), not a work or school account, so I cannot sign into Partner Center or access the Developer profile settings you mentioned. The developer profile associated with my Dev Essentials subscription is outdated and locked, and this prevented Azure Pay-As-You-Go from completing tenant provisioning.
As a result, Azure is now enforcing Entra MFA on my personal MSA, but personal accounts cannot satisfy Entra MFA requirements. This has created a login deadlock where:
- Azure portal forces Entra MFA
- My MSA cannot access Entra MFA setup or reset pages
- Tenant provisioning never completed
- I cannot access Azure portal
- I cannot open Azure support because I have no subscription
- I cannot update the developer profile because Partner Center rejects MSAs
- Dev Essentials support loops back to FAQ pages
This matches the known identity failure pattern where an MSA becomes attached to an incomplete Azure tenant and gets stuck behind an MFA requirement it cannot fulfill.
Can you please escalate my case to the Microsoft Data Protection team? They are the only team that can:
- reset the Entra MFA state for my MSA, or
- detach my MSA from the incomplete tenant, or
- update the locked developer profile address so Azure can complete provisioning.
I appreciate your help. This issue cannot be resolved through self-service, and I need backend identity repair to restore access to portal.azure.com. This issue is preventing me from completing my certification within expected timeline and impact projects I need to complete.
