Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, Tricia
I understand how frustrating this is, especially when you only need to update the payment details before renewal.
Sign in to Services & subscriptions using the Microsoft account that owns the subscription. Find Microsoft 365, select Manage, then Change how you pay. Choose an existing payment option or select Add a new way to pay, enter the new bank or card details, and save them.
If Change how you pay is missing, recurring billing may be turned off, the subscription may be prepaid, or it may have been purchased through Apple, Google, Amazon, or another retailer. In that case, the payment method must be updated through the company that sold the subscription.
If the new bank account is in a different country or region from where the subscription was purchased, it may not be accepted. Payment methods are not supported in every region, and an existing subscription cannot always be moved between regions.
Please let us know whether you see an error message and whether the subscription was originally purchased in another country.
Thank you for your patience in reading, I hope this information has been helpful to you.
