Draft email gone missing

Hello I was using the Outlook app on my phone to write up an email. This email was being saved to my drafts as I was able to keep going back into the email.

I have now gone back in to continue the email however the email has now disappeared. I have tried to speak to customer support and they weren't able to help me. I didn't include a to email address as I didn't want this email to be sent until I had checked over it.

I have previously had emails get saved to my drafts even when they were as a mistake. They have then sat there for years. Now when I need an email saved to draft it hasn't saved.

I need urgent help as this email took me 2 hours to write and now I have no idea what I wrote in the email. I have tried looking up different words that were in the body of the email however I wasn't able to locate it.

This is just very frustrating because it has never happened before and now with a very important one it has happened.

@Samantha Hemphill If you are using a Microsoft email (outlook.com, hotmail.com, etc.), have you tried logging into that account via Outlook on the web? Your message should have synced to the email server and would be in the draft folder of the web version of Outlook. This is the link to Outlook online: https://outlook.live.com/

Check the other inbox folders too in case the message was somehow moved after you last accessed it. Mobile phone screens can be challenging especially when you are focused on a certain task.

And if you haven't already, restart the Outlook app on your phone to ensure a good sync with Outlook servers.

FYI, if you are using a non-Microsoft email, then your recovery options are limited. I hope you find it.
