The answers posted online to correct this do not work on my desktop. E.g. when I click on File, there is no Option.

Consequently, I can't get past the File tab, which when selected displays: Download, Print, Settings. There is no

solution found in Settings.

I use Firefox browser and Linux OS.

Suggestions for a solution would be most appreciated.

For Outlook on the web, File > Options does not apply. That path is for classic desktop Outlook.

Use this path instead while composing or replying to an email:

    1. Open a new message or reply to an existing one.
    2. On the message ribbon, select Editor > Editor Settings.
    3. Turn autocorrect and auto capitalization off.

If the Editor button is not visible:

    1. Look for the Editor icon in the message body and select Customize your Editor.
    2. If it still is not visible, use the arrow on the right side of the ribbon to expand the ribbon and reveal more options.

For Outlook on the web, auto capitalization is currently available only for English languages.
