According to Microsoft’s official documentation, only Visual Studio Professional Standard and Visual Studio Enterprise Standard subscriptions qualify for the automatically renewable Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription.
The Visual Studio Professional Monthly subscription you currently have is not eligible for this benefit. Microsoft specifically notes that monthly subscriptions, including Professional Monthly and Enterprise Monthly, do not qualify.
To receive this benefit through Visual Studio, you would need an eligible Visual Studio Professional Standard or Visual Studio Enterprise Standard subscription.
