Time zone problems in Field Service Schedule Board

Hello! I have a problem with the time zone in Field Service Schedule Board, it doesn't keep the Time Zone I select, every time it changes to another one and I have incorrect timing on bookings. I mention that every resource has the same time zone. Also I've notice that there are other options that change in board view, like travel duration. Do you know how I can fix this problem?

    Dear @Lacramioara Predoi

To help me pinpoint the exact cause and provide you with the most accurate solution for the Schedule Board time zone and travel duration issue, could you please clarify a few brief details?

    • Are you using the legacy Schedule Board or the new Schedule Board experience?
    • Is this resetting behavior happening only for your user account, or are other dispatchers/schedulers experiencing the exact same issue on their end?
    • Are you modifying a personal Schedule Board tab or a shared/public tab?
    • Does the time zone reset immediately upon refreshing or closing the browser, or does it reset when switching between different Schedule Board tabs?
    • Does your personal user time zone in Dynamics 365 (under Settings > Personalization Settings > General) match the time zone you are selecting on the board view?
    • Are you using any browser auto-clear settings or extensions that clear session storage/cookies when you navigate away from the app?

Once I have this context, I will provide you with the exact step-by-step instructions to fix this. I look forward to your reply!

The behavior points to a schedule board settings mismatch rather than a resource time zone issue.

    Use this check path:

    1. In Field Service, open Scheduling > Schedule Board.
    2. On the affected board tab, select ... > Scheduler settings.
    3. In Board view settings, verify the Time Zone value. This setting controls the time zone the schedule board uses, and booking times on the board adapt to that selection.
    4. Since other board view options such as Show travel duration are also changing, verify the settings on the specific active board tab again. Board view settings apply only to the selected schedule board tab.
    5. Check the user time zone in Dynamics 365:
      • Select Settings in the upper-right corner.
      • Select Personalization Settings.
      • On the General tab, confirm the Time Zone is correct.
    6. Make sure the user personalization time zone and the schedule board tab time zone match.

If bookings still show incorrect times, check whether this is a daylight saving time issue:

    1. Open the booking record directly, not from the schedule board.
    2. Check Start Time and End Time.
    3. If the booking record shows the correct times but the schedule board shows shifted times, the board is applying the wrong UTC offset during a DST transition.
    4. Go to a date after the DST transition on the schedule board and verify whether bookings appear correctly there.
    5. If many bookings are affected, consider rescheduling them with the schedule assistant after the DST transition occurs.

Also verify resource work hours if availability looks wrong on the board:

    • Open the resource’s Work Hours tab.
    • Confirm working hours exist and the recurrence covers the dates shown.
    • Check for overlapping business closures or time-off entries.
    • Verify the time zone on the resource’s work hours matches the resource’s actual location.
