I have the Outlook app on my phone and the log in address is incorrect. The login was provided by someone in IT at the school where I work. I googled how to fix it and it told me to click on my icon and go to settings. There is no icon and I cannot access settings. I have tried to uninstall the app but I can't get rid of the incorrect log in. Help!!!!!

That is exactly the point, an uninstall on its own often does not clear it, because the account is usually stored outside the Outlook app itself. That is why simply removing the app does not start you from scratch. The steps in my earlier reply cover this. Please follow these steps and let me know how it goes. Looking forward to your reply.

Since you have already tried uninstalling without success, there is a fair chance the address is being supplied to Outlook by another Microsoft app or by your school's device management settings, in which case it will keep reappearing no matter what you do on the phone. Contact the school’s IT department and ask them to:
If you don't know who your IT administrator is, please refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
Do not remove a school management profile or Company Portal enrollment without checking with IT first, as that could remove access to other school resources.
