Bookings calendar not displaying all custom times

Hi,

I've updated my Personal Booking page to reflect 3 recurring open booking times each week. A colleague checked the page and said that only one of the custom times is showing availability on the monthly calendar, and not reflecting all available times

Can anyone assist?

Thanks!

Anna

This usually happens when one setting is overriding the recurring schedule rather than the recurring times being ignored.

Check these areas on the Personal Booking page:

    1. Review the meeting type availability
      • Open the meeting type that should show those recurring times.
      • Confirm its availability is set the way intended.
      • If a specific date range was added, verify it is not overriding the normal recurring schedule.
    2. Check for date-range overrides
      • In Bookings, date-range availability overrides the general availability.
      • If only one time appears on that date, a custom date range may be limiting what is shown for that period.
      • If the recurring weekly hours are the goal, remove the conflicting date range or update it so it matches the intended times.
    3. Verify whether the service is using staff free/busy time
      • If availability is based on when staff are free, only times that are actually free will appear.
      • A service can be set to Bookable when staff are free, Not bookable, or Custom hours.
      • If the page should always show the custom recurring slots, confirm the meeting type is not being restricted by another availability rule.
    4. Check Outlook calendar conflicts
      • Personal Bookings shares availability based on free/busy schedules.
      • If the Outlook calendar has events during those times, those slots may not appear as bookable.
      • This is especially important if the missing slots are on only one specific day.
    5. Review duration and buffer settings
      • If the meeting type duration or any buffer overlaps the intended slots, some times can disappear from the booking page.
      • As a test, create or edit a meeting type to use a 30-minute duration with no buffer and check whether all expected slots appear.
    6. Save changes and refresh the booking page
      • After updating availability, save the meeting type and reload the public booking page.
      • If needed, test again in a fresh browser session.

    A practical fix path is:

    • Open the affected meeting type.
    • Remove any temporary date-range override.
    • Confirm the intended recurring hours are set.
    • Check Outlook for busy items during the missing times.
    • Temporarily reduce the meeting duration or remove buffers.
    • Save and test the page again.

If the issue is only on one date, the most likely causes are a date-range override, a calendar conflict, or duration/buffer overlap.

    Hello @Anna S,

Good day! I hope you are doing well.

Based on the screenshots, I can see that your Personal Bookings page is configured with custom availability on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. However, the booking page calendar appears to show availability only for Friday.

To help provide the most accurate and effective solution, could you please share a bit more information?

    • Are you seeing only Friday available when accessing the booking page yourself, or is this occurring only for other users?
    • Does the issue occur in multiple browsers (such as Edge and Chrome) and in an InPrivate/Incognito session?
    • What time zone is configured in your Microsoft Bookings page, and does it match the time zone of your Outlook calendar?
    • Are there any existing appointments, recurring meetings, or all-day events on the affected Monday and Tuesday time slots in your Outlook calendar?
    • Could you expand and share the settings under Advanced options for this booking type, particularly any scheduling restrictions, lead time requirements, buffers, or maximum days in advance settings?

Additionally, could you provide a screenshot of the monthly calendar showing the dates where Monday and Tuesday availability is expected but not displayed? Please remove any personal information before uploading your images.

This information will help determine whether the behavior is related to availability rules, calendar conflicts, time zone differences, or another booking policy setting.

I look forward to your update. Thank you!
