Editing a meeting description without sending another email to all attendees

I'm trying to edit a meeting description for an upcoming meeting on my calendar without sending another email to all attendees. When I close the meeting screen, it only asks if I want to discard or cancel changes. I do not have a save option. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hi Kathryn,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

    At this time, when you edit the description of a meeting and save it in Outlook on the web, Outlook will automatically send a meeting update (Send Update) to the participants.

    To make this change without sending a notification, you will need to use Outlook Classic.

    You can open the meeting in Outlook Classic and edit the description. After making your changes, you can click Save instead of Send Update.
