Error in Bookings App

The Bookings App is a great tool because it references user's Calendar, automatically limiting times available to be booked based on 1) events on the Calendar App and 2) "regular meeting hours" as set in the Calendar App. The reference to 2) "regular meeting hours" appears to be broken. I changed my hours in the Calendar App, but the Booking App is still referencing my old hours. When I went to "See regular meeting times" in the Booking App, the link returns an error saying it cannot log me in (even though I am logged into Office 365 already.)

It is still referencing the events on my calendar just fine, it's only the regular meeting times that are broken.

I didn't see a better "Support" place to post this issue for Microsoft Developer awareness, but if there is a better place to report a bug, please let me know.

    Hi Matthew,

Thank you for your response and the details.

The error code AADSTS50011 indicates that the redirect URI configured in the application and the Microsoft Entra app registration don't match.

To resolve the issue, please reach out to your system admin and share these steps with them:1. Copy the application ID from the error message. In this case, it is 9199bf20-a13f-4107-85dc-02114787ef48.

    1. Sign into the Azure portal with the account that has permissions to update Microsoft Entra Application registration.
    2. Navigate to Microsoft Entra ID, select App registrations, locate the application registration by using the application ID, and then open the app registration page.
    3. On the app registration page, select Authentication. In the Platform configurations section, select Add URI to add the redirect URI "https://bookings.cloud.microsoft/mail/" displayed in the error message to Microsoft Entra ID.
    4. Save the changes and wait three to five minutes for the changes to take effect, and then use InPrivate browser window to log back into Outlook.

Please try these steps and let me know how it goes. Thank you for your time and patience.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi Matthew,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Based on your description, you appear to be using a personal booking page, also known as Bookings with me, rather than a shared Bookings page.

Your Outlook calendar connection is working because existing calendar events are correctly preventing those times from being booked. The issue appears to be limited to the separate synchronization of your regular meeting hours. Microsoft Bookings may still be using previously saved hours and is not retrieving the updated schedule from Outlook.

The error displayed when you select See regular meeting times also suggests that the synchronization problem may be related to the Microsoft 365 sign-in session.

To narrow down the issue, please try the steps below:

    1. Open Outlook on the web and go to Settings > Calendar > Work hours and location.

    User's image

    1. Verify your work hours and time zone, then select Save.
    2. Sign out of all Microsoft 365 accounts in your browser.
    3. Open an InPrivate or Incognito window.
    4. Sign in using only your work or school account, then test the See regular meeting times link again.

I hope this information is helpful. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let me know. I'll be happy to assist you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Wishing you a great day ahead.
