Each time that I have tried to log into [[Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]] it continues to say that there's no such account when that is my business account. Please help.

Hi Danita,Thank you for reaching out. Microsoft has different types of accounts, and they are authenticated through different services:

    • Personal Microsoft accounts (such as Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com)
    • Work or school accounts (such as Microsoft 365 or @onmicrosoft.com accounts)

From what you've shared, this issue commonly happens for a couple of reasons:

    1/ Possible sign-in page mismatch:

One common issue that may prevent successful sign-in is accessing the account through a personal Microsoft sign-in page instead of the business sign-in page. As your account is a Microsoft 365 work or school account, try signing in through a business portal such as: Office.com or Microsoft 365 admin center.

2/ If you're trying to sign in to Windows and see this error

If the device is running Windows Home, it does not support a full organizational sign‑in at the lock screen or during initial setup. In this case, Windows requires a personal Microsoft account to complete the first sign‑in and finalize the device setup. Once you are signed in, you can then connect the device to your business account by going to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school.

    User's image

After this, you would continue using your personal account to sign in to Windows, while signing in to Microsoft 365 apps (such as Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive) with your business account. This approach allows Windows to complete setup successfully while still giving you access to your work resources.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction. Feel free to leave a comment if you need further assistance.
