    Hi Sabyasachi,

If the copy/paste restriction is being enforced by Microsoft Purview DLP, an end user generally cannot turn it off themselves. The DLP policy is controlled by the organization's Microsoft Purview administrators.

If you are the administrator, check:

Microsoft Purview → Data Loss Prevention → Policies

Review the policy that is applying to the affected users/devices and check the Audit or restrict activities on devices actions, particularly Copy to clipboard. Microsoft Purview supports auditing, warning, or blocking clipboard activities depending on the policy configuration.

If the issue is specifically with pasting into an internal web application, also check the policy's browser/domain restrictions and whether that internal domain is being treated as a restricted service.

I would recommend identifying the policy and adjusting its scope or changing the relevant action rather than disabling DLP globally. You can also use simulation/testing to determine which policy is causing the restriction before making changes.

If you are not the Purview administrator, please contact your organization's IT/security team, as they will need to make the policy change.
