URGENT: Pearson VUE System Error preventing reschedule 25 hours out
Hi everyone,
I am facing a critical issue and need immediate help from the community or an official moderator. My Microsoft certification exam is scheduled for August 18, 11am. I am currently 25 hours away from my exam start time, which means I am still within the allowed window to reschedule.
Unfortunately, the Pearson VUE dashboard is completely locked up and giving me a persistent system error every time I try to reschedule.
Here is everything I have already tried to fix it on my end:
- Cleared my browser cache and cookies completely.
- Tried accessing the portal using Incognito/Private browsing mode.
- Switched to entirely different web browsers.
- Attempted to navigate directly through my Microsoft Learn credentials dashboard.
My interactions with Pearson VUE support so far: I have already called their customer support line three times and reached out through their live chat. The support agents explicitly admitted to me that this is a known internal system error on their side. However, instead of manually rescheduling my exam, they told me to "call back in 2-3 hours", for the last 24+ hours.
If I keep waiting that long, my clock will run out, I will drop below the 24-hour limit, and their system will completely lock me out and forfeit my exam fee.
I have taken timestamped screenshots of the system error showing my local time, and I have saved the chat logs where the agent admits the system fault.
Has anyone else dealt with this specific portal error today? Can an official Microsoft support moderator please open a private thread with me so I can share my account details and screenshots to get this escalated before the 24-hour window closes?
Thank you in advance for any advice or help!
