Hello,

Before the Outlook policy change, the archive folder could be renamed however this is no longer possible as it is considered a system folder.

Wishing to make my mailbox consistent, I would like to know if a solution is possible or if an administrator can correct the problem.

I'd like to restore its name to the original one from "Twitter" to "Archives" (the folder at the bottom)

    Dear @Parker Eden

If the folder name was previously changed to "Twitter", you may be able to restore the default name by resetting Outlook's default folder names. According to my research, I have found this article as a workaround to reset the web version of Outlook: Issues with default folders in Outlook

    • Step 1: Open Outlook Settings (top right corner) > Navigate to: General >> Language and time
    • Step 2: Change the Language dropdown to a different language (If you are English speaking, select something non-English; for example, I chose "Deutsch"). Ensure the Rename default folders so their names match the specified language checkbox is ticked, which appears underneath
    • Step 3: Click Save, and refresh your browser or click the refresh link provided under the Language dropdown after save.
    • Step 4: Re-open Settings > Navigate to: General > Language and time
    • Step 5: Change the Language dropdown to your desired language (for me this was English United Kingdom), and ensure the Rename default folders so their names match the specified language checkbox is ticked, which appears underneath
    • Step 6: Click Save, and refresh your browser or click the refresh link provided under the Language dropdown after saving.

This process has helped restore incorrectly named Archive folders back to their default name for other users.

I hope the information shared is helpful. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to your update.
