Managing security settings and protections in Outlook on the web for business
If the sender addresses and domains are already allowed and not on the blocked list, the next checks in Outlook on the web are:
- Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email and confirm the Patreon addresses or domain are still listed under Safe senders and domains.
- Go to Settings > Mail > Rules and verify no rule is moving, deleting, or redirecting those messages.
- Check the Junk Email folder and, if any Patreon message appears there, use Mark as not junk.
- Check whether mail is being filtered out of view:
- Review the Other tab.
- Set Filter > Sort > Date to restore normal message order.
- Check whether email forwarding is enabled.
If Patreon confirms messages were sent but nothing appears in Inbox or Junk, the messages may be getting blocked before they reach the mailbox. In that case, the most effective next step is for Patreon to check whether they are receiving a non-delivery report and to review their sending authentication configuration.
A safe senders entry can help prevent mail from being moved to Junk, but it may not help if the message is rejected before delivery.
