- If the project is long, split it into shorter projects Longer projects can push the device harder during load and export. Testing with a shorter project helps confirm whether project size is the bottleneck.
- Keep enough free disk space for temp files 200 GB free space should generally be sufficient, but Clipchamp still needs free internal-drive space greater than the size of the media used in the project because it creates temporary files during processing and export.
- If using Clipchamp personal, review local temp storage In personal Clipchamp, local temp storage can be checked in Settings > Storage. Temp files can be deleted there, but only after confirming source media exists elsewhere or content backup is enabled. Deleting temp files without that can cause relink issues.
