A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hi, Wongderful
Since the laptop will not turn on, OneDrive cannot be unlinked directly from it. Removing the device alone may not erase files already downloaded to the laptop, so the safest approach is to secure the account and ask the retailer to factory-reset the device before resale or repair.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
Sign in to your https://account.microsoft.com/security, select Advanced security options, then choose Sign out everywhere. This signs your account out of browsers and apps where possible.
Change your Microsoft account password immediately. It is also recommended that you enable two-step verification if it is not already active.
Open the https://account.microsoft.com/devices, find the failed laptop, and select Remove device.
Tell the store that the laptop contains personal data and must be factory-reset or have its storage securely erased before it is refurbished or returned to circulation.
Your files stored online in OneDrive will not be deleted by these steps. However, any files previously downloaded for offline use may remain on the laptop until its drive is erased.
