Submitted an identity validation request for YouOwnItSoftware LLC on [date] under my Artifact Signing account (Basic SKU). Status has remained "In Progress" for 9+ days with no requests for additional documents. Email verification was completed. Support ticket filed but no response yet.

Validation ID: [paste it]

Can someone check the status internally or escalate? Thank you.

Hello @James Hochard

A delay of more than a week during the identity validation process can occur if the validation provider requires additional manual review, especially for new organizations or when business records need further verification.

A few recommendations:

  • Verify that your organization's legal name, address, and registration details exactly match the information submitted for Trusted Signing.
  • Check all email folders (including Junk/Spam) for any requests from Microsoft or the identity verification provider.
  • If you've already opened a support ticket, include the Validation ID, Support Request ID, and your Tenant ID (if applicable) in this thread. That information allows Microsoft moderators to help route your request to the appropriate team.
  • Avoid submitting another validation request while the current one is pending, as it can sometimes introduce additional delays.

If a Microsoft moderator is monitoring this forum, they may be able to help escalate the case internally once the Validation ID and support ticket number are provided.

Please "Accept the Answer" if this information helped you. This will help us and others in the community as well.
