Hello Liga I, thank you for posting in the Microsoft Q&A community.
Here are the solutions to bypass this issue and retrieve your key:
1. Verify your OneDrive Storage Status If you are using a personal Microsoft account (e.g., @outlook.com, @hotmail.com), a locked OneDrive is the most common cause for this specific web hang.
- Navigate directly to https://onedrive.live.com and sign in.
- If you receive a banner stating your storage is full or the account is frozen, you will need to delete files or temporarily expand your storage. Note: It can take up to 12 to 24 hours for the system to automatically unfreeze the account after clearing space. Once unfrozen, the BitLocker recovery page will load correctly.
2. Use the Entra ID Portal If this device was set up using an organization or school email, or if it was ever connected to a company network, the key will not be available on the standard consumer portal.
- Open an InPrivate or Incognito browser window.
- Navigate to the My Account portal at https://myaccount.microsoft.com.
- Go to the Devices section.
- Select your device and click View BitLocker Keys.
3. Bypass Authentication Loops To ensure a cached token or local network rule isn't causing the hang:
- Open an InPrivate window on a completely different network (such as your smartphone's cellular data connection, making sure Wi-Fi is turned off).
- Go directly to the recovery URL: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey.
