Hello Badger Heating and Cooling
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Q&A.
Based on recent reports, there have been other users experiencing the same symptom where the Microsoft account loads normally, but the BitLocker Recovery Keys page gets stuck loading or loops on authentication. This can occur even after trying different browsers, devices, and networks.
Here are the steps I recommend:
- Try opening the recovery key page directly:
- Personal Microsoft account:
https://aka.ms/myrecoverykey- Work or school device:
https://aka.ms/aadrecoverykey
- Work or school device:
- If the page still will not load and other Microsoft account pages work normally, this may be a service-side issue rather than a problem with your browser or PC. Similar reports have been noted recently.
- To contact Microsoft Support:
- Go to the Microsoft support site: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus
- Choose Windows → Get Home Support (for personal devices).
- If the device belongs to your company or school, contact your organization's IT administrator, as the recovery key may be stored in Entra ID (Azure AD) rather than a personal Microsoft account.
Important: Microsoft Support cannot generate or recover a BitLocker key if it was never backed up. The key must already exist in a Microsoft account, Entra ID, Active Directory, a USB drive, or a printed copy.
Hope you found something helpful here. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
If this answer could solve the issue, it's appreciated to accept the answer.
Thank you again for your patience and support!
