SMS Verification - Update Requested Status

Hello.

I'm in the process of toll-free SMS verification application for my app which just moved to "Update Requested" status, but I can't find any detail on what the review team wants changed. The portal doesn't show reviewer notes and I haven't received an email with specifics.

Since the certification can take up to 5 weeks, I want make sure I update that data that is needed so that I don't have to wait another status update. My app is already live and I don't have SMS functionality because of this process.

Can anyone provide some guidance on this process?

Please try the following:

Go to your Azure Communication Services resource → Regulatory Documents (or select the toll-free number under Phone numbers and choose Submit / Update Application).

Carefully review and update the application, with particular attention to the opt-in process. Include clear screenshots that show the exact consent language displayed when the phone number is collected.

Confirm that company details match your legal records and that any required business registration fields (such as EIN / Business Registration Number, entity type, etc.) are completed.

Resubmit the application.
