I'm back from yesterday but I need more help please. I want to now use Clipchamp but with the special features awarded me by also having Microsoft 365 as a personal user. Below is the answer I found but how do I link?

[from Microsoft canned answers]

All users of Clipchamp for personal accounts who would like to upgrade to access premium features require a personal or family Microsoft account.

This can be achieved by linking a Microsoft account to an existing Clipchamp account or logging into Clipchamp using a Microsoft account. If you don't have a personal Microsoft account yet that you can link in Clipchamp, you will need to create one.

Hello robin cotten,

I understand that you have a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription and would like to link the subscribed Microsoft account to Clipchamp so you can use the included premium features.

The “link” simply means signing in to Clipchamp with the same personal Microsoft account that owns the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. This enables included benefits such as 4K export, a personal brand kit, and some premium stock media, but not every feature in the separate Clipchamp Premium plan.

Please try the steps below:

  1. Open Clipchamp and select your profile picture in the upper-right corner. Alternatively, select Settings at the lower left.
  2. Under Sign-in options, select Connect personal Microsoft account.
  3. Sign in with the exact Microsoft account used for the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, then follow the prompts. A successful-link notification should appear.
  4. Close and reopen Clipchamp, then check whether options such as 4K export are available.

If Connect personal Microsoft account is not shown, the Clipchamp account may already be linked. Sign out and sign back in with the subscribed Microsoft account. You also try the personal version at Clipchamp on the web in Edge or Chrome.

Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps, and I'll be glad to continue looking into it with you.

Thank you so much. I had trouble with the word 'link' as it was used but it's logical.

Since you answered me, you might know this one. I am having trouble finding out how to put Clipchamp in the start menu and on the Task Bar. I don't know where to right click on it to do that. Do you or anyone else know?
