Hello, thank you for posting in the Microsoft Q&A community.

When you see a TraceID error on the Microsoft account devices page, it indicates a backend metadata sync failure. This typically happens due to a temporary service degradation on the Microsoft Account servers, a browser session conflict, or—most commonly—a cloud storage quota limitation that unexpectedly blocks device data retrieval.

To resolve this issue, please start by trying to access the recovery key page using an InPrivate or Incognito browsing window. If possible, use a completely different device and network, such as a smartphone on a cellular data connection. This bypasses any local caching or network routing issues that might be corrupting your current authentication session.

If the standard method still results in the same TraceID error, please verify your Microsoft cloud storage quota. A known behavior exists where if your Microsoft account's OneDrive storage is completely full, the device portal fails to fetch BitLocker metadata.

    1. Navigate to onedrive.live.com and sign in with your associated Microsoft account.
    2. Check your storage capacity indicator in the bottom left corner.
    3. If the storage is full or over capacity, delete unnecessary files and empty the Recycle bin to free up space.
    4. Once you are safely under the storage limit, please wait approximately 1 to 2 hours for the backend servers to sync the new quota state.
    5. Log back into account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey and the page should now successfully load your recovery keys.

Please also ensure you are checking the correct portal based on your account type:

    • For Personal Accounts: navigate to account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey
    • For Work or School Accounts (Entra ID): navigate to myaccount.microsoft.com/device-list

I will follow up on this thread to ensure your issue is resolved. If this helps, please consider hitting "Accept answer".
