    Hi Patrick,

The TraceID indicates that the request reached the Microsoft service, but it does not identify the root cause. This issue can occur if there is a temporary service problem, you’re signed in with a different Microsoft account than the one associated with the device, or the recovery key was never backed up to that account.

    As initial troubleshooting, please verify:

    • You are signed in with the same Microsoft account that was used when BitLocker was enabled.
    • Try accessing the recovery key page using an InPrivate/Incognito browser session or a different browser.
    • If the device is managed by your organization, check with your IT administrator, as the recovery key may be stored in Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory instead of your personal Microsoft account.

If the issue persists and you continue receiving the same TraceID, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support for assistance with the Microsoft account or recovery key service, as this requires investigation on the service side and cannot be diagnosed from the TraceID alone.
