How do I zoom the system camera out? I have to move way back just to get my full face on screen.

    Hi Scales, Kenneth,

I understand how frustrating that can be, especially if you need to sit much farther away than normal for video calls.

Before suggesting further troubleshooting, could you confirm the following:

    1. Does the camera appear zoomed in only in a specific app (such as Teams, Zoom, or another video app), or does it also look zoomed in in the built‑in “Camera” app?
    2. Which Surface Pro model are you using?
    3. Did this start after a Windows update, Surface update, or did it begin suddenly without any changes?

In the meantime, if the issue occurs across all apps on the Surface, you can try these quick checks:

    1. Open “Settings” > “Bluetooth & devices” > “Cameras”.
    2. Select the Surface camera that is affected.
    3. Look for any options related to auto framing, tracking, or camera effects, and turn them off if available.
    4. Restart the device and test the camera again.
