when accidentally switched from facial recognition to PIN code

hi, does anyone know how to recover PIN code for surface 11?.......the one after you enter A1,B2,C3....I normally have facial recognition enabled, but a work colleague was trying to get a VPN sorted on it....and now I cannot remember what the code is?

Or do I now have to do a factory reset of everything?

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

    The PIN code is for locally use within the computer, so the option to recover it usually come within it as well. Before we proceed further, may I know if it gives you any options to recover your PIN or sign in using a different method?
