Tracking, updating, and organizing tasks within Microsoft Teams or integrated apps
Hello @Kirko Vsevolod,
Thank you for your post and for providing the screenshot.
Based on the views shown in your screenshot, it appears that you are working with a "Planner Premium plan". I tested the same scenario in my environment using both Basic and Premium plans and was able to reproduce the behavior you described.
In a "Basic plan", the Grid view provides options to sort tasks by supported columns.
However, in a "Premium plan", opening the column menu only displays "Hide column", and the ascending or descending sorting options are not currently available.
This appears to be a current feature limitation of the Premium Grid experience rather than an issue with your browser, Windows application, or account. Similar differences between Basic and Premium Grid sorting have also been reported by other users.
As a temporary workaround, you can use the "Filters" option in the upper-right area of the plan to narrow the displayed tasks based on the available criteria. While filtering does not provide exactly the same functionality as sorting, it may help organize and review the tasks more efficiently.
Since Microsoft Planner continues to receive new features and improvements, I would also encourage you to submit your suggestion through the Planner Feedback Portal: Planner · Community
The Product Team regularly reviews customer feedback and suggestions. After creating your feedback request, you are welcome to share its link in this thread so that other users with the same requirement can view and upvote it, helping bring further visibility to the request.
I understand that sorting is a basic and valuable function when managing tasks in Grid view, and I appreciate you taking the time to report this limitation.
Kind regards,
