We can't access our locally created Agents in M365!

Could you clarify where the agents were created: Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit, or another local development environment?

If “locally created” means that the agents run in Microsoft 365 Agents Playground or on localhost, this is expected. Agents Playground is only a local test environment. To access the agent in Microsoft 365, you must:

1. Provision and deploy its backend to an HTTPS-accessible hosting service.
2. Build and validate the Microsoft 365 app package.
3. Upload the package for personal testing, or publish it from Agents Toolkit to the organizational catalog.

Ask an administrator to approve and assign it in Microsoft 365 admin center > Agents > All agents > Requests.

If the agent was created with Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder:

1. Open Microsoft 365 Copilot.
2. Select New agent > View all agents, or Agent Store > Your agents > See more.
3. Confirm you are signed in with the account that owns the agent.
4. Open Share and grant affected users Can chat, or enable organization-wide sharing if permitted.
5. For Agent Store availability, submit it to the organizational catalog and wait for admin approval.

If it was created in Copilot Studio:

1. Publish the agent at least once.
2. Open Channels > Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
3. Select Make agent available in Microsoft 365 Copilot and add the channel.
4. Share access with the intended users.
5. For organization-wide discovery, select Availability options > Show to everyone in my org > Submit for admin approval.
