When I try to open Teams in my browser, I get a notice saying, 'We need you to sign in again. This could be a request from your IT department or Teams, or the result of a password update.' However, clicking the Sign in button does nothing. My temporary solution is to clear the cache or site data to continue, but the problem returns later.

    Hi ada

To help narrow down the cause, please try the following:

    • Does the issue also occur when you open Teams in an InPrivate/Incognito window?
    • Does the same behavior occur if you sign in using a different supported browser?
    • If the issue does not occur in an InPrivate/Incognito window, or only occurs in one browser, temporarily disable any browser extensions, especially ad blockers or privacy-related extensions, and test again.
    • Ensure that your browser isn't blocking cookies for Microsoft websites, as this may interfere with the Teams sign-in process.
    • Are you the only user in your organization experiencing this issue, or are other users seeing the same behavior?
    • Do you have the Teams desktop application installed? If so, please try signing in there and let us know whether the same issue occurs.
    • Are you connected to your organization's network or VPN (if required by your organization) when the issue occurs?

Based on Microsoft documentation, this behavior may be related to organization-specific network requirements. You may review the"Help prevent the issue" section in the following article for additional context: Restore your access to Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Support

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I look forward to your update.
