Managing media playback issues and settings in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I try to download a .TS file from "RightNowMedia" the download finishes but when I try to view the downloaded file the voice and video are out of sync. I just received the latest update that said IDM updated .TS file downloads and when I tried the download I saw the option to download from .TS to a .MP4 file. The download did provide a .MP4 file type but it was still out of sync. I tried the built in MS video tool as well as VLC video tool with the same results.
Is there really an IDM that will correctly download the .TS file type to .MP4? This is important for me in supporting my Sunday School class.
Thank you,
Brian Ferguson

Hi,
In this case, I believe the issue is likely an application glitch or bug—not a Windows fault—so you should check with IDM support or see if the site in question has a protection system in place. Have you tried testing it with another site, such as Pixabay (which has a free video library), to see if the same problem occurs?
If the issue doesn't happen elsewhere, and you are trying to download from a site with private content—or if the download comes through that way even when they do provide a download option—you should contact the site's support team to clarify the situation.
Please keep in mind that if the site does not officially provide a download option, using the IDM media tool to download the content could be considered a violation of licensed media protection policies.
Thanks.
