How can I fix my fan??

Hi, my Surface fan spins quickly when it turns off and then turns back on and spins quickly and then turns back off and repeats. How can I fix this without opening the Surface? Please help me. My Surface has the latest update and I use it lightly.

    Open Task Manager → Performance tab, leave it open while the cycling happens. Watch CPU usage at the moment the fan kicks in. If it jumps even briefly to high %, sort the Processes tab by CPU to catch the culprit.
