Hello,

I am experiencing a Clipchamp media import issue.

Problem:

Media files remain stuck at 0% during import and never complete processing.

Environment:

  • Tested on two different laptops (Acer and Asus)
  • Tested on Clipchamp Desktop App
  • Tested on Clipchamp Web Version
  • Same Microsoft account
  • Different PNG files tested

Observed Behavior:

  • File name appears in the media panel
  • Import starts but remains at 0%
  • Thumbnail remains blank/black
  • Media never becomes usable in the project

Troubleshooting Already Performed:

  • Restarted devices
  • Tested multiple files
  • Tested on multiple devices
  • Tested on both desktop and web versions
  • Successfully logged into Microsoft account
  • Clipchamp editor loads correctly

Result:

The issue persists across devices and platforms. The problem appears to occur during the media import process rather than login or editor initialization.

Has anyone experienced the same issue recently, or is there a known service issue affecting Clipchamp imports?

Thank you.

    Hi, good day!

I checked current reports and haven't found any indication of a widespread Clipchamp service outage at this time. However, I am seeing multiple recent reports from users experiencing a blank white screen or loading issues in Clipchamp, which may suggest a problem related to a recent update or a client-side issue rather than a complete service outage.

Please try to Repair & Reset the app

    Press Start then search Clipchamp

Right click it then select App settings

Click Terminate > Repair > Reset

If this does not work, it may be worth monitoring for additional reports and escalating the issue to the Clipchamp product team if the problem continues or becomes more widespread.

    Open Clipchamp

Look for the Help icon > speech bubble (Support chat) icon in the top-right or header area.

Submit your suggestion or issue directly to the team.

In case you still can't access this, please report the issue via Feedback Hub app

I recommend monitoring this link regularly for any official updates from Microsoft concerning the reported problem.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below.
