Microsoft Clipchamp stopped working all of a sudden on all my laptops

I have been using Clipchamp since last year, as part of my Microsoft annual subscription. The last time I used it was on Wednesday.

However, today it stopped working all of a sudden on both of my laptops, on the same day:

  • On my laptop with Windows 11, neither the Clipchamp App nor the browser version are working: last time I used it was on Wednesday 10 June.
  • Also on my older laptop with Windows 10 neither the Clipchamp App nor the browser version are working: last time I used it was on Monday 8 June.

When I open it (desktop or browser), all what I get is a white screen.

As a result, I cannot access ‘help’ or 'chat widget' from within the App because it is just a white screen.

I need your help to know what is happening. I need to use it for my work.

I need urgent help please. Is there a technical problem with Clipchamp itself causing it not to work?

    Hi, good day!

I checked current reports and haven't found any indication of a widespread Clipchamp service outage at this time. However, I am seeing multiple recent reports from users experiencing a blank white screen or loading issues in Clipchamp, which may suggest a problem related to a recent update or a client-side issue rather than a complete service outage.

Since several users appear to be reporting similar symptoms, it may be worth monitoring for additional reports and escalating the issue to the Clipchamp product team if the problem continues or becomes more widespread.

    Open Clipchamp

Look for the Help icon > speech bubble (Support chat) icon in the top-right or header area.

Submit your suggestion or issue directly to the team.

In case you still can't access this, please report the issue via Feedback Hub app

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below.

Thank you all for reporting the same issue.

I was concerned that I had the same issue on two different laptops with different OPs.

However, when I tried Clipchamp just now, it opened and is working as usual.

It seems there was something in Clipchamp update perhaps on 12 June that cause this widespread problem.

I am so glad now it is working.

Nonetheless, may I urge Microsoft Clipchamp team to provide some sort of 'contact' outside of Clipchamp to report such incidences in the future? I found on they webpage an email to contact (******@clipchamp.com), but this email bounced back immediately: I don't know why they have it on their website! All my research to find a way to contact Clipchamp recommended to 'log-in > open Clipchamp > go to help/chat widget' - which wasn't possible given that Clipchamp was opening in a white page!

Any way, I am glad the issue is now solved :)
