Copilot in the CRM opens as a pane/tab inside the app window rather than a separate browser tab, so it is closed the same way as other in‑app panes:
- Look for a Close, X, or Hide button on the Copilot pane itself (often in the top‑right of the Copilot area).
- If Copilot appears as a tab within a workspace (for example, in a Copilot Service workspace layout), close that tab like any other tab in the workspace UI (usually an X on the tab header).
- If the Copilot workspace or pane is blocking the screen and won’t respond, close the whole app window and reopen it. If it is hung, use Task Manager to force it to close:
- Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
- In Task Manager, select the CRM app (or browser hosting it).
- Select End task, then reopen the CRM and avoid opening the Copilot pane.
If the CRM is using the Copilot Service workspace and a session‑close dialog appears when closing sessions, that dialog can be disabled by a workspace admin using the documented setting, but the Copilot pane itself is controlled from within the workspace UI.
