Hi everyone,

We are using sharepoint for our company and it works fine until a month ago.
On the main page we published news items, user can click on them to see more information, that works fine.
There is also a "See All" button but when u click on that, a page opens but there is nothing on it.

It looks like the button "See All" is linking to a URL like this:image

This is the result:User's image

That page is not working, but when i remove all after .aspx the page is workingUser's image User's image

Please advice on where to look to resolve this problem.

Regards,
Edwin

    Hi @Ed B!

Regarding your issue, as this has been happening for quite some time and affects the normal News experience, I would recommend raising a support ticket with Microsoft Support for further investigation since this type of issue may involve the site’s backend configuration or a service-side problem, which cannot be fully checked or corrected from the community side.

A technical support engineer can perform a remote session to investigate the situation, verify the backend configurations, and run any necessary synchronization tools to resolve the problem. If the issue requires further attention, they can escalate it to a specialized team for deeper analysis.

Here’s what your Microsoft 365 Global Admin (IT Admin) should do next:

    • Submit a Service Request: The Global Admin should create a service request with Microsoft support to get advanced technical assistance and diagnostics. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin.
    • Find Your Microsoft 365 Admin: If you’re unsure who the Global Admin is within your organization, you can find guidance on locating them here: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?
    • If your subscription is managed through a Microsoft partner or reseller, they can also assist with opening a support request and liaising with Microsoft on your behalf.

Note: If you’re an end-user, please coordinate with your Office 365 Global Administrator to handle these steps.

I apologize for redirecting you the related team support, as the moderators in this community don’t have access to the detailed system needed to troubleshoot this effectively due to privacy and security constraints. But Microsoft’s support team has elevated permissions and access to backend systems that we, as community moderators, do not. This ensures your issue is handled with the right tools and expertise and helps you get a faster resolution.

Hopefully they will be able to help with your issue and if you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

Note: Please follow the steps in our documentation to enable e-mail notifications if you want to receive the related email notification for this thread.

Use the News web part configuration and news posts themselves to troubleshoot, rather than editing the URL.

    1. Edit the page that contains the News web part:
      • Select Edit on the page.
      • Select Edit properties on the News web part.
    2. Verify the news source and access:
      • In the property pane, confirm the source for the news is correct (for example, “This site” or the intended site).
      • Ensure users have access to that source.
    3. Confirm the items are real news posts and not just pages:
      • Open one of the items shown on the home page.
      • At the top right, verify there is a Post or Repost button (news post). If it shows Publish/Republish, it is a page and will not appear in News.
    4. Make sure posts are not drafts:
      • For each news item, ensure Post has been selected so the item is published.
    5. Re-add the News web part if needed:
      • If the configuration appears corrupted, remove the News web part from the page.
      • While still in edit mode, select +, choose News, and add it again.
      • Configure the source and layout, then Republish the page.
    6. Use the built-in “See all” experience:
      • After re-adding/configuring the web part, use the See all link again. It should open the standard news listing (the same view that can also be reached by selecting See all in the News section on a team site).

If the issue persists only when query parameters are present in the URL but not when they are removed, re-adding the web part and confirming the news source and posts’ publish state are the supported ways to restore the correct “See all” behavior.
