A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Hello Kelly Myrick
I can see that copilot icon is missing in your MS Office applications
In newer Microsoft 365 builds, Copilot may appear as a button in the document corner instead of only on the ribbon, and the current settings path to check is usually under File > Account > Account Privacy > Manage Settings, not a separate Copilot option in Excel Options.
Here is what you can try to search for the icon:
- In Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, look for the Copilot button in the document corner as well as on the Home tab.
- Go to File > Account > Update License, then fully close and reopen all Office apps.
- Under File > Account > Account Privacy > Manage Settings, make sure Experiences that analyze your content and All connected experiences are both turned on.
- Confirm you are signed into Office with the same Microsoft account that has the Copilot entitlement. If you are using Microsoft 365 Family or Premium, Copilot in the desktop apps is available only to the subscription owner.
- Make sure Office is updated to the latest build.
As a workaround, you can also check whether Copilot appears in the web versions of the apps while testing the desktop apps.
