For several weeks copilot is stuck on "You’ve reached your weekly Tasks limit. Check back Friday for more Tasks." Doesn't reset.

This is my second week now. I did contact support and they concluded it was something they were trying to fix. The only thing I can think of on our side is that I changed subscription from premium to personal before the friday reset. Is that something you did as well?

The behavior indicates a usage limit that is not resetting correctly on the backend and cannot be fixed from the client side.

The available guidance for similar Copilot quota/limit issues (for example, transcription limits not updating after getting a Copilot license) is to escalate to Microsoft support so that engineering can check and correct the account configuration.

    Recommended action:

    1. Ask the Microsoft 365 (or tenant) admin to open a support ticket from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
    2. In the ticket, include:
      • The exact message: “You’ve reached your weekly Tasks limit. Check back Friday for more Tasks.”
      • How long it has been stuck (several weeks) and that it never resets.
      • The affected account UPN and any relevant Copilot license information.
    3. Work with support/engineering so they can inspect the backend quota state for Copilot Tasks and reset or repair it.

This type of persistent, non‑resetting limit requires backend investigation; there is no documented client or settings change that resolves it.
