Can't sign in to onedrive on web on this account

This folder was created by someone else for multiple people to submit to, and sent to me via email.

I'm able to view the file, but when I try to upload my files I'm asked to log in, and get that error code after I put in my email. Same exact thing happened when I tried it in incognito.

Ah, ok. That made more sense then.

I guess this someone else is an organizational user, right? So, the issue here is not your own personal Microsoft account, but your "guest" identity in that organization tenant is the issue.

In simple terms, you can get into your own house no problem. But here you are invited to visit someone in their office. At the security over there, they check your ID and cannot recognize you being on the "allow-to-access" list.

Have this person reshare the folder with you. In the Share window, ask them not to input your email address and invite you that way. Instead, have them click on the "copy link" option, then share the link in a separate email with you. Also, make sure they edit the link access to allow editing.
