A video editing tool developed by Microsoft, designed to make video creation easy and accessible for everyone.
Hello coo7kiie OMG!
From what you described, when you add text in Clipchamp, it either fades out during playback, keeps buffering, or does not appear at all, even though the fade sliders are set to 0.
Here are a few things you can try:
- First, please make sure the text track is placed above the video on the timeline. If the text clip looks very small, try zooming in on the timeline so you can grab the sides and extend its duration properly.
- Next, if you are using an animated title, try switching it to Plain text to see if that helps.
- Update Clipchamp, fully restart the PC/Mac, and if you are using the app version, try opening the same project in Edge or Chrome instead.
- If it still happens, repair or reset Clipchamp (Windows): go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Clipchamp > Advanced options, click Repair first, then Reset if needed. If that still does not help, reinstall Clipchamp from the Microsoft Store.
- If you are using Clipchamp in the browser: clear the browser cache, reopen Clipchamp, and try turning off hardware acceleration in the browser settings, then restart the browser. Clearing cache and restarting the browser can also sometimes help with loading and playback issues.
Additional step: Add the same text to a brand-new project to see whether the problem is tied to the current project. If it works normally there, the original project may be glitching.
I hope this helps sort things out. Feel free to post back if you need further support!
