Hi, Im trying to send emails from an alias, however I can't find the "Addresses to send from" setting in the "Compose and Reply" setting in outlook.

I have several email aliases added to the account and enabled "send from alias" in the exchange settings.

However I am still unable to find the "Addresses to send from" setting.

Adding a from email manually in the "From" form has no effect, as the email is still send from the main email address.

I have this exact same issue in my newer tenant. Aliases do not show up in the from list and even if you type them in, you do not get the abilitiy to select them, only the primary shows up. The article link provided above is for Outlook.com, not relevant to Azure/Office 365 tenants.
I have an older tenant where this is working. Both tenants have the setting enabled for sending as alias.

Anyone found a way to get this working?

Ok, I got it working! :)
I cannot say what exactly was the silver bullet however here's what I did:

Logged in to Outlook on the web and made sure that the setting for sending using aliases was enabled. It was not originally and once I did that, a new option showed up to select which aliases are allowed. Checked off those. Seems weird given I do not use Outlook ont he web however this was done.
The other thing I did with respct to Outlook on the web was to select yes when prompted to log into this app only or all apps (I selected yes meaning all apps) - The resulted in registering the device with the tenant. I do not think this was the issue, just thought I would mention it as part of the process I went through. I think point #1 was more pertinent.
Restarted Outlook on the desktop and a few mins later (was not immediate), I was able to select in the from option, 'Other e-mail addresses' and type in the alias and it now worked. As a side note, Outlook on the desktop is the classic outlook, not the new Outlook. I'm sure the new Outlook will also work however we still prefer Outlook Classic.

Send email from a different email address

In the compose window, select Options > Show From to see the From line.

Select the down-arrow next to From and choose which email address you want to use.

If you don't see all your accounts or aliases, select Other email address... and start typing the email address or name you want to send from.
