A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
The message indicates that access to SharePoint and OneDrive in the tenant is being blocked by Microsoft due to a violation of the Microsoft Online Services Acceptable Use Policy, and not because of local permissions, device, or macOS issues.
This block is enforced at the service level. It cannot be fixed by changing site permissions, quotas, or client settings. The only supported action is to contact Microsoft support from the Microsoft 365 admin center so they can review and, if appropriate, restore access.
Action steps for the Microsoft 365 admin:
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with an admin account.
- Go to the SharePoint Acceptable Use Policy page:
SharePoint Acceptable use policyin the admin center. - Select Contact support on that page.
- Open a support request explaining that SharePoint/OneDrive show: “This page has been blocked as it violates the Acceptable Use Policy…” and that this is affecting access.
- Work with Microsoft support on the case; only Microsoft can remove or adjust this AUP-based block.
If the organization is not engaged in any prohibited activities, support will review and can restore access if the block was applied in error.
