My Clipchamp will not open. It just keeps saying "ready in a moment".

    Try this option;

    Click the Start button (bottom-left of your screen)

    Type: Clipchamp

    When you see it in the list:

    Right-click on it

    Click Uninstall

    Or carefully follow these steps;

    Press Windows key + I (this opens Settings)

    On the left side, click Apps

    (If you don’t see it, just look for anything that says “Apps” in the window)

    Click Installed apps

    In the search bar, type Clipchamp

    Click the three dots (⋮) beside it → Uninstall

    Try the following steps in order until Clipchamp opens correctly:

    1. Refresh and reopen
      • If Clipchamp is open in a browser or the desktop app, press Ctrl + F5 or use the browser’s Reload button.
      • If that doesn’t help, go back to the Clipchamp home/overview page where all projects are listed, reload that page, then reopen Clipchamp or the project.
    2. Check browser and connection
      • Use the latest version of Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
      • Confirm the internet connection is active while Clipchamp is loading.
    3. Free up memory and disk space
      • Close other browser tabs and applications to free RAM.
      • Ensure there is enough free space on the internal drive; available space should be more than the total size of the video files used in Clipchamp projects.
    4. Disable browser extensions
      • Temporarily turn off extensions in Edge/Chrome (especially translation, privacy, or ad‑blocker extensions), then reload Clipchamp and try again.
    5. Sign out, clear cache, and restart browser
      • Make sure original media files (video, audio, images) are saved outside Clipchamp in case relinking is needed.
      • Sign out of Clipchamp.
      • Clear the browser cache following the Edge or Chrome steps, selecting “All time” and “Cached images and files” only.
      • In the address bar, run edge://restart or chrome://restart, then sign back into Clipchamp and try opening it again.
    6. Advanced: Clear Clipchamp site data
      • Ensure original media files are backed up outside Clipchamp first.
      • In Edge/Chrome, open More tools → Developer tools.
      • Go to the Application tab → Storage → select Clear site data.
      • Refresh the Clipchamp page and try opening Clipchamp or the project again.

    If Clipchamp still never gets past “ready in a moment” after these steps, repeat step 6 once more and verify you are on the latest Edge/Chrome version before trying again.
