My father is deceased and his account is inaccessible. I wish to remove myself from the family group.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

According to this Microsoft Family group policy, only the Family Organizer can add or remove a member from the family group.

If you no longer have access to the Family Organizer account, you will need to recover that account first and then remove the member from the family group.
