365 Family adult member cant sign into defender

I upgraded to 365 Family. Im sharing with my adult daughter and when she tries to log into MS Defender to set it up, she get an error "Invalid license. Please contact administrator".

    Hello

    Microsoft 365 Family subscription is not for logging into Microsoft 365 Defender.

    Where is your daughter signing into Defender? There's a commercial Windows Defender product, but that requires a business-tier license and it is not meant for individual users. So I won't be surprised that she cannot sign into it.
