remove email address selection

Is this in outlook.com, or in Outlook app?

Email of choice, do you mean to send email FROM, or to send email TO?

Is this like a suggested pop up when you start typing or?

In Outlook.com, the list of From addresses comes from:

1. Connected accounts and aliases on the Microsoft account.
2. The primary alias set for the account.

To stop a particular address from appearing as a choice when composing a new email:

1. Remove that address as an alias or connected account from the Microsoft account.
   • Go to the Microsoft account’s alias settings and remove the unwanted alias (for example, an @hotmail.com or @outlook.com address).
   • Note: If an alias from a Microsoft domain (like @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com, or @msn.com) is removed, it is permanently deleted and cannot be associated with any Microsoft account again.
2. After removal, that address will no longer appear in the From drop-down when composing messages in Outlook.com.

If the goal is only to stop using it by default, change the primary alias instead of removing it; the default From address in Outlook.com is controlled by the primary alias.
