How can I block of specific days on my books with me page? Without making it a regular thing, just a one time day removed?

    Hi @Stickney, Alison,

I appreciate you reaching out about this.

According to your inquiry, it depends on whether you are using your personal "Bookings with me" page or a "Shared bookings" page for a team, so I have outlined two ways below to manage one-time schedule changes based on your inquiry.

Scenario 1: If you are using Bookings with me in Outlook on the web.

You can block specific days for your personal booking page by creating a busy event in Outlook.

Since your personal booking page is tied directly to your own calendar, the great way to remove availability for a single day is to mark that day as "Busy" in Outlook. I recommend this method because it does not require you to go into your Bookings settings.

    • Open your Outlook calendar.
    • Create a new event on the day you wish to block.
    • Set the status to Busy or Out of Office.
    • User's image
    • If you want to block the entire day, check the All Day box.

Your booking page will automatically sync and hide any slots that overlap with this event.

Scenario 2: If you are instead using a shared Microsoft Bookings calendar

There are two supported ways to handle a one-time block, depending on whether you want to block a staff member’s availability or make the service itself unavailable for a specific date range.

Option 1: Block the staff member with Time Off in Bookings.

Open Microsoft Bookings, choose the correct calendar, and select Add time off. Then enter the start and end date/time, select All day event if needed, choose the affected staff member, and save. Microsoft Learn states that this will make the employee unavailable for bookings during that specified time.

Option 2: Block the service for a specific date range.

If you want the service to be unavailable for a certain date or period, open the service settings, go to Availability options, choose Set availability for a different date range, enter the dates, and set that period to Not Bookable.

Additionally, if you are still unsure whether your setup is Bookings with me or shared Bookings, feel free to reply back with that detail and I can help narrow it down further.

I hope this helps you keep your schedule organized and precise. Please let me know if you need further assistance with these settings.
