    Hi @Nicholas Hills

Thank you for sharing your concerns.

If New Outlook for Mac is no longer capitalizing the first letter of sentences, try the following:

    Open Outlook.

    Start a new mail message.

On the menu bar, go to Edit > Spelling and Grammar.

    Select Correct Spelling Automatically.

After turning this on, try composing an email to confirm whether the first letters of sentences are capitalized correctly.

I am not accepting the Answer because there is no Editor Settings only ribbon in Outlook for Mac. This is irritating. Please advise asap.

In new Outlook for Mac, capitalization of the first letter of sentences is controlled by the Editor autocorrect/auto-capitalization settings.

To turn automatic capitalization back on in new Outlook for Mac:

    1. Start composing a new email (or reply/forward an existing one).
    2. On the ribbon, select Editor.
    3. Select Editor Settings.
    4. Use the toggle to turn Auto capitalization (or Autocorrect/Auto capitalization) On.

If using classic Outlook for Mac with Word-style editor options:

    1. In Outlook, go to File > Options > Mail.
    2. Select Editor Options.
    3. Go to Proofing > Autocorrect Options.
    4. On the Autocorrect tab, ensure options such as Capitalize first letter of sentences are enabled.

These settings restore automatic capitalization of the first letter of sentences while composing mail.
