I’ve been experiencing problems with Outlook, and several Office apps on my Samsung device. I’ve already tried to remove and reinstall them, but the issues are still there. It looks like Microsoft apps aren’t functioning correctly on Android.

Word is stuck loading files, and Excel appear completely blank. I’ve also cleared the cache for all the apps and reinstalled them, but nothing has resolved the issue, so I’m unsure what’s causing it.

Hi @Jason

I found a method that might help you with this issue:

Please follow the exact steps below:

  1. Settings -> Search for "Android System Webview" -> App Details In Store -> Remove Updates
  2. Reboot
  3. Settings -> Search for "Android System Webview" -> App Details In Store -> Update
    • Note: If "Android System Webview" doesn't appear in the app list, go to: Settings -> Google -> All services -> System Services -> Select "Android System Webview"
    1. Reboot
    2. Launch Teams/Outlook & log in.

Can you please provide your Android version as well as your Office apps versions?

In the meantime, please use Outlook in the browser on your mobile as an alternative. For Excel, Word, you need to use the web version on your computer.
