I want to use amazon photos to keep my photo in cloud, and use OneDrive to store my videos only. Can I auto-upload videos only from my iPhone?

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

OneDrive does not currently offer an option to back up only videos from your iPhone Photos folder. If you turn the Camera Backup feature On, all photos and videos in that folder will be backed up.

OneDrive does provide an option to exclude videos from the backup, but there is no setting to exclude only photos and back up videos alone.

To suggest this as a new feature to Microsoft, you can submit feedback through the OneDrive app on your iPhone, tap your profile picture, and select Help & Feedback to send your suggestion.

No. OneDrive’s iOS camera upload feature cannot be configured to upload only videos.

On iPhone/iPad, Camera Upload works like this:

    1. Turn on Camera Upload in the OneDrive app settings to upload the camera roll automatically.
    2. Optionally turn on Include Videos to upload videos as well.

    The setting structure is:

    • Camera Upload: Off → nothing uploads
    • Camera Upload: On, Include Videos: Off → photos only
    • Camera Upload: On, Include Videos: On → photos and videos

There is no option for “videos only”; videos are always an add‑on to photo upload, not a replacement.

To keep only videos in OneDrive, videos would need to be uploaded manually (or photos deleted from OneDrive after upload), while using Amazon Photos for automatic photo backup.
