I had a lot of outlook folders stored under ‘on my computer’ on my MAC which were dragged to the deleted folder and then deleted from that in error.

outlook was backed up 2 weeks again and saved as a .olm file.

can I restore the outlook folders back from this back up?

I use the legacy outlook.

    Hi @SC

Yes, technically, if your .olm file contains the folder that was deleted by mistake, you can import it into Legacy Outlook for Mac. After the import, the .olm data will appear under On My Computer, which includes all folders and items that were archived at the time the file was created.

For detailed, step by step instructions, you may find the following Microsoft Support article helpful: Import email messages, contacts, and other items into Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Support

I hope this helps clarify your situation and gives you a clear path forward.  If you need further assistance or have additional questions, please feel free to reach out.
